If you do not make an appointment to collect or deliver your document, another delivery attempt will be made. After a failed second delivery attempt you will have another opportunity to make a delivery appointment. If you have not made a delivery appointment yet, we will make a third and final attempt. Are you not home at this final delivery attempt? Then you will receive a collection notice. You will then only be able to collect your residence document at the IPKD location.

We tried to deliver the residence document to you at home three times. You will receive notice on the first two attempts. What happens if you are not at home three times? Then we will not try to deliver your residence document again. You will receive a collection notice by post.

No. You must pick up your residence document yourself. Is the residence document for a child under the age of 12? Then their father, mother or guardian must pick up the residence document together with the child.
Then call us to make an appointment. At the top of the notice you will find a stamp with the phone number.

Bring your passport or ID. And your old residence document if you have this. You need to hand in your old residence document.

A courier of the government of the Netherlands personally hands the residence document to you. The courier is employed by the Interdepartmental Postal and Courier Service (IPKD).
